Learning MI through the TNT application

Part I: small topic sharing by Mr Ka-Wo Tse, Mr. Witt Wong & Mr. John Siu

“Training New Trainers (TNT)” workshop is an annual event which most MI practitioners wish to participate.  Those who had completed related training and become MINT members share the same feelings that preparing for the TNT application is a catalyst that speeds up their learning in MI significantly.  It’s our honor to invite two local practitioners who attempted the TNT application this year - Mr Witt Wong and Mr John Siu, to share their related experience. Mr Ka-Wo Tse will also brief what TNT is in case you are new to this topic.

Part II: Work sample discussion

We shall listen to two work samples (Standardized Patient Interview for 2019 TNT application) contributed by Mr Witt Wong & Mr John Siu. Participants can do the coding with the use of MITI manual^, followed by group discussion. ^ Members or non-members who have received coding training are encouraged to join and refresh their coding skills. Those who are new to MI coding are also welcome.
